Our branch supports local nonprofits and educational entities that adhere to the mission of AAUW. Below is a list of our various partnerships:
Portland State University Coffee Creek Women’s Prison Education Program
- We are supporting a funding bill that will benefit prison education in the 2025 Legislative Session.
- We are donating at least $2000 to the emergency fund for women transitioning from prison with support from the Portland State Program.

Oregon Tradeswomen
- We donated gift bags at Christmas time for each of the members of the
Pre-Apprenticeship Class that included a gift card, cold weather clothing, seasonal treats and a special Christmas ornament. (see attached) - We provided a grant to the organization for emergency issues for participants.

Mount Hood Community College
- We have given groceries and hygiene items to the student pantry several times over the past 5 years.
- We provided training on Civil Rights laws for students through Student Services.
- We have participated in campus events several times each year: International Women’s Day, Club Day, Get Out the Vote, Resource Day.
- We provided full scholarships/expenses for students to participate/attend our Young Women’s Leadership Workshop in Washington DC.
- We provide an endowed scholarship to a 2nd year student each year.
